Summer has finally arrived in Minnesota. It’s time to SUP!

Summer in Minnesota is both nice and warm!

I honestly still check my phone to see if we are going to get snow.  I know I’m being a little paranoid.  That said, I think many of you can understand how hard it is to shake off a long cold winter.  Now the sun is out, the humidity is rising, and the colors have shifted from grey to green.  So what are you going to do with this one short (but glorious) summer?

Go Together – Red Paddle Co Tandem

I’m excited to get back to the Boundary Waters and do a longer stand up paddleboard trip.  Maybe I’ll try a 6-8 day trip.  There are a few new and exciting things you should know about.  Probably one of the things I am most excited about is the Red Paddle Co – 15′ Tandem Voyager (I know, if you’re from MN we spell it Voyageur).  Paddleboarding for two!   Who knew this could be so exciting.  To be fair, it’s not the first tandem on the market but it is the first one I’d take on a trip.

Go Solo

I’m also dreaming of a multi-day solo trip.  My board of choice for this excursion will be, hands down, the Red Paddle Co 13’2″ Voyager.  It’s dreamy to paddle, quick on the water, and can hold a boat ton of stuff.  I’m not sure where I’m headed yet but I’m definitely open to suggestions.
